I have decided to call May ..'WATCHERS MONTH"......Lets hope June is full of button pushers..lol
Anyone else with lots of watchers and very few sales? I need someone to make me feel better ...:_|

I know I shouldn't complain....I haven't had to run the gauntlet of non-payers like a lot of you high volume Sellers ( and I have everything crossed that it doesn't happen ).
I was just bubbling along nicely selling quite a few then all of a sudden NUTTIN! lol
( lulled into a false sense of security in April, reality hit me in May).

I feel your pain. Although I enjoy playing games with these serial watchers ๐ Instead of lowering your prices I like to put them up $10. I had relisted an item for ages and it always had watchers but never any bids. The last time I listed it I put it up $10 and finally it was sold! Funny thing is I also had an email after it finished from someone saying they wanted to purchase it at the lower price because they had seen it advertised by me cheaper. Haha I had the last laugh telling them it sold for the higher price!!

Like davewil said, a good option might be to remove the Watch option. I used to get frustrated too but I hardly even think about it now that it's removed. Views and bids are more important to me than watchers.

Yes Id like to watch Perentes. Afterall I have a lot of spare time on my hands now that Im selling virtually nothing. Not a sale in 2 days. OH! you said "Perennial watchers!" and here I am out looking for Goannas. To be honest I dont look at the watchers. But in the last few days I sold more eleswhere (nod , wink, awaiting removal) than here.........

lozyginns - I love your strategy good for you! OMG that is sooo tempting. Ya know I might just give it a go if I find the courage. lol
I have tried to mix things up since I started just to see which method would get the most traction and I embarrassed to say I still don't have a clear picture of it. Even more embarrassing is that I have an extensive background in marketing. Ahhhh ebay the great leveller...hahaha
You guys are great, I feel much more encouraged and far less concerned. So thank you.:-)

That's a brilliant idea - increase your prices if you want to sell less.

I have one item with 75 watchers and haven't sold anything from the listing for about a month!;\

My feeling is that not everyone on ebay is looking for something cheap and nasty. If they are they will buy it for 99c from China. If you are selling quality products you should put a reasonable price on it. Most people appreciate quality products not cheap rubbish. Quality products cost money. Maybe if you sell everything for 1c by the time you sell 100 items you might have $1.

Perhaps you should buy a pair and find out]:)
