Personally Delivered an Item instead of posting

Hi, I need help. I've sold a camera and the buyer has paid. However, when I learned he lived not far from me, instead of posting the item, I personally delivered it. He has confirmed deliver in the ebay messages. How do I get payment released?

Are you registered to sell, verified with both your bank account and personal details ?

The buyer confirming delivery in eBay messages is not accepted by eBay as 'proof of delivery'

And without a QR code/scam you have zero way to prove it was delivered

And assuming you are indeed fully signed up for Managed Payment and verified to sell, the payment would be on hold regardless as a you are a new seller

I edited my last message as I can see now that you didn't offer pick up so the buyer will have no QR code.

Hopefully you have an honest buyer.

Your funds will be on hold for up to 31 days IF you're already verified, signed up for managed payments

When your payment becomes available, you'll need to request a payout. It won't be done automatically
