Hope some guru here can help.
I have 2 I.D's, when I am listing on one and I go to upload photos it automatically goes to Standard upload which is what i want.
However on the other each time i go to upload it randomly chooses either the basic or url setting 99% of the time, and only very occasionly the Stadard upload.
Can anyone suggest how to set it to go to the Standard upload all the time??????????????????????

I have no idea, I use three selling ids and regularly have to change to the option I want, only takes a nanosecond so I have never even considered trying to standardise it, more often than not I am swapping between basic and URL anyway.

Yep, this is REALLY ANNOYING. Another one of the many seller interface bugs that eBay simply doesn't care about.
Sure, it only takes a second to change it back - BUT ONLY if you notice which tab is black and which tab is grey in the first place and stop to ponder just what that might mean. Generally one would expect the tabs to remain the same each time (i.e. set to STANDARD, not Basic or URL) but no - it will suddenly and randomly switch to Basic, and you won't realise until you try to select images and find you can only select one at a time, so you have to cancel out and start over.
This is REALLY, REALLY ANNOYING and there is no point to it that I can see.
Another annoying glitch is the way the photo upload system changes the order of the photos I upload, leaving me fiddling about with tiny little USELESS arrows to try to get the pictures back in order, moving each photo along at one position per click (REALLY?!!!) for up to 12 photos, and having to move the mouse to click on a new tiny arrow each time. COULD THIS SYSTEM BE ANY WORSE, MORE USELESS, OR MORE USER-UNFRIENDLY?? Ever heard of drag-and-drop, eBay?
Just as annoying is the default "Allow buyers to send you their Best Offers for your consideration" setting. I DO NOT want this switched on as the default, but of course there is no way to switch it off, because eBay wants you to sell items no matter what the cost. Sometimes the interface doesn't even allow me to uncheck this box, so I have to save the listing and start over. Again.
This, along with eBay's exhorbitant fees, is why I now list more and more items on facebook groups instead of eBay.
But why should eBay care?

No more so than dragging up a 12 month old thread to NOT provide any useful information.
