I am new to selling on ebay as I have always purchased but never sold anything in the last 20 years. A buyer recently picked up an item and he said that he will message me the pickup code as soon as he will arrive home as he doesn't have remote access to his email address. Now he is refusing to give me the code despite multiple messages and he answered the phone once and he said that he will not give me the code. What can i do? No options to contact ebay about this or paypal as all options are automated and specific about other matters but except this matter. Anyone has an idea how to get this resolved as payments are on hold with ebay. Thank you.

Next timeโฆ..cash only, on pickupโฆ.no code required, not covered by mbg

If, in your messages, it shows that they refuse to give code, and if they start a claim (which I doubt) just upload all correspondence to claimโฆ.good luck!
BTW, are you registered for Managed Payments?
If not, your funds will be on hold for 30 days, regardless

Everything's changed since you last sold and as you've mentioned Paypal, this indicates that you're NOT registered to sell and signed up for managed payments and you won't receive any money until you are.
The buyer pays eBay and eBay pays you... .after a hold period of 14-30 days
I recommend you end all your listings until you've completed all of the requirements shown here:
