Please remind me

Just had to cancel an order as the item was not supposed to be available and yet a buyer was able to purchase.

Anwyay, at the confirmation screen it says the buyer has 10 days to confirm the cancellation.

 

 

I havent had to do a cancellation for more than 2 years so can I just tell the buyer not to worry about doing anything as it will time out?

Actually just seen that it has gone from "pending" to "cancelled", so I guess I'm all set and will just notify the buyer about the glitch, but that there's nothing else to do.
