Hi,
I just started selling. I sell quite expensive items to oversea buyers, around $350 - $700 each item, on another ID. I use Australia Post, Registered to send the parcel overseas. It is only trackable when the parcel is still in Australia. So far so good. My question is, is this method of shipping acceptable by paypal?
I appreciate your answer.
Thank you

The question you have to ask if it is acceptable to eBay in the country you are posting to. as far as I know you need, for most places, post by trackable means to that show all the way. One of the express parcel options usually satisfies that. Where are these items going?

Thank you super nova. I often send to Europe and the US.
I thought international registered post by Australia Post is good enough to show to paypal in the case of something wrong? AP told me that even their tracking number is not an online tracking, but you can track by calling them. I'll check with paypal to see if they accept this shipment method. Express international costs too much, on average $30 per item (weight between 1 - 2.5kg).
Thank you

I have found Registered Post International can be usually tracked online from the receiving countries postal service website - here is a link to most of the post office websites in the world:

Proof of lodgement is usually enough for a Paypal dispute but if an overseas buyer makes a purchase while logged into their own site then they are covered by ebay buyer protection and in most countries require on line trackable proof of actual delivery.
That is what the International Selling Agreement is all about.
