As a buyer, I have always wanted flexible postage options, especially when buying something from someone living in the same city. As a seller, I would like to offer my buyers that same flexibility. I went to Australia Post a few weeks ago and they told me that it would cost $6.95 to post a 12 x 12 x 3 cm box of goods anywhere in Australia. If I was sending that package to somewhere in Melbourne, it would be nice if I could offer to deliver it for free.
I was editing the postage options for my item and opened up the "Seller Postage Calculator." In the last section, you can obtain the postage costs for different services to different places.
There is a section of text saying, "To add services to your listing (up to three), use the checkboxes below and click Offer Services."
But there are no checkboxes and when I click on "Offer Services" nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug in the web site's software?
