Postage calculator for AP Business account holders...

Hi E1,     We have been using auspost.com.au for years and our eBay sales have increased and we are wanting to know if it is possible to have our eBay listings reflect the exact postage charge instead of us using a flat price for all postcodes
.

We have tried the option for standard postage varied by location however when we type a postcode far away say in WA 6000 into the postcode field of the item it shows up as costing $50.05 to send a single motorcycle helmet from here in Qld to WA.

As we have a business account with AP we do not pay $50 to send a new, in the box helmet. We checked the AP website using our measurements and also the weight and postcodes and sure enough, it is exactly $50.05.

With our business account with AP we only pay around $30-35.

Some people are probably reading this and thinking "just charge what the calculator charges and keep the change", lol, as much as I would like to, its just not good business sense.

if you are using business policies can't you create a postage discount for those you live in a certain area?

I believe you can create all types of postage rules for different things.

I think there may be a postage discount option there somewhere but im just looking to charge my buyers the exact postage. not inflated or adjusted rates.

eBay has always been so far behind in their postage calculator options, it would be nice if they could include the AP business rates option.

I wonder how other ebay sellers using AP`s business account go then?

1. They use eBays postage calculator and enjoy the extra postage monies they receive from their buyers.

2. They do what im currently doing, Flat Rate and suffer the loss when someone in WA or TAS buys.
