Hi, when I sell, I always use calculated postage paid by the buyer. Why did the buyer pay $9.18, if eBay is selling me postage for this as $15.25? Why am I paying half from my own pocket?? Also, I need to buy a box for it, which is not included in eBay postage.

Most of your items are showing me $10.16 eBay postage labels.
eBay include the postage amount in the FVF, so you always receive less than what the buyer pays. That's just how it is.
You can either increase your listing price to cover your sales related expenses, such as the cost of your box and the postage gap (obviously you can't do this for items you've already sold), or you can just continue to cover it out of your own pocket as you are currently doing.

So, it said calculated by buyers location - and its not changing from what buyer pays and what I supposed to get label for

That shows "Buyer pays AU$8.88 - AU$15.25". So, based on my location (Bathurst NSW), I am quoted $10.16.
I'm not sure why you are being charged more than the buyer, but I'm guessing the eBay postage labels is calculating the cheapest option (perhaps Sendle?). If it's using prices for any carrier other than Australia Post, but defaulting to Australia Post after the buyer has paid, that would explain why you would be charged more for the label. This could possibly occur for rural buyers, or anyone with PO Box, Parcel Collect or Parcel Locker addresses.

Thanks, I will probably change to a flat rate $15 for every item. Strange though
