Printing post label on Ebay - Is GST included?

Hello All

So I have just started printing and paying for my post via Ebay. Looking at my monthly Ebay invoice, there in no mention of GST.

Ordinarily when I pay for post and the post office, there is 10% GST charged to me, which I then claim back when doing my BAS. Do I assume 10% of the post charge invoiced to my Ebay is GST?

Looking at the post info on Ebay, it says:

6. Can I get a tax invoice for my postage labels?

Tax invoices are available five days after labels are printed (once the option to cancel has expired). You can access your tax invoice through the Manage postage labels page in My eBay.

I have looked, and I cannot find where the tax invoice can be viewed?

Or is Ebay not paying Aust Post GST on my behalf?

When you print a postage label eBay and Aus Post allow 5 days for cancellation.

After the 5 days, you can print individual Aus Post label receipts. Go to Manage Postage Labels and under More Actions, select Print Postage Tax Receipt.

If you don't want to amass hundreds of individual receipts you could pick up the monthly total for Shipping fees disbursed (incl GST) from your eBay invoice.

Thanks. So I can safely assume from the total Shipping fees disbursed that 10% is GST.

Yes, just divide by 11 and you'll have the GST amount.
