Priority mail 1-4 days not listed as a shipping option by Ebay in shipping? Whats best practice?

Hey there

I'm planning to use Priority stickers on my C5 letters to send my parcels a bit quicker for higher priced items.

Costs 50 cents for the priority Auspost sticker and turns my standard 1-6 day delivery into 1-4 days nation wide.

But on Ebay shipping it only has options for 1-6 days standard shipping or 1-3 days express shipping.

Shouldn't there be an option for 1-4 days?

Should I just explain its 1-4 days shipping in my listing instead?  is that allowed?

Thank you

Matt

I LOOOOOVVVEEEE Priority stickers !!! I always use them on all letters & large letters!! I find they work a treat!! It might also depend on your sorting centre! Maybe some centres are slack & dont take notice of them ... but I'm in the "wouldnt post without them catagory". In fact I get nervous if I run out...Of course u just add the price into the postage costs!

For games that use DVD/Blu-Ray style cases, you can also buy 160x230mm bubble mailers on eBay for a lot cheaper than the ones in the Australia Post shops (note that the 151x229mm AP padded bags are slightly too narrow to fit DVD cases unless you deliberately force them in) - usually I buy mine from EB Packaging in lots of 50 or 100 but there are a number of similar eBay stores.

I used to use the plastic 151x229mm bubble mailers from Officeworks (unlike the paper-based ones of the same size, these would fit DVD cases perfectly) but they became more expensive and would only just fit through the letter gauge - usually I had to pop all of the bubbles on the adhesive flap and fold it in such a way that the flap didn't go over the game so it would fit through and not count as a parcel. Stamps had a habit of falling off too due to the plastic so I would have to tape them down. I was fine with them when they were 85c each (bulk price), but when they went to $1.05 each at the reduced price it was getting a bit much compared to a few cents each online. I don't mind using one or two if I have run out and have to post something but I wouldn't use them every day.

As for priority stickers, I haven't actually used them at all, nor Express Post - I find that the majority of games still tend to arrive within a few days or a week at worst (e.g. VIC to WA or QLD) using regular mail, at least going by the relatively few buyers who have actually bothered leaving feedback.
