For the last one (251-500g), you are better off with Parcel Post ($7.45), unless the buyer wants signature on delivery.

Ok. Thank you all for getting back so quickly. I don't see priority being much benefit. Or, as the girl said in True Grit, "I can't see 25 cents in a little flour and grease".

Priority paid large letters have tracking?

We have given buyers the option to choose the 50-cent priority option on Etsy and our website.

So far about 1 in 10 are choosing it.

There is no postage service option on ebay as yet to enable this. Last I asked them they were still "working" with Australia Post to develop this option. LOL.

As far as we can tell it makes little/no difference to delivery times. But we always keep a few on hand in case the option is chosen.

We extended our handling time out to 3-days to combat the new late delivery defects.

So far this is working and has actually resulted in us receiving far more feedback compliments about our fast postage as we still mail out on the same day if its possible to do so. Doing so does not appear to have impacted sales that we can tell.

I have handling time set for two days and the people who buy from me seem pretty happy with my service. I just had one item go missing, my first item on this account which is not bad. The buyer is very understanding and I'll send out another but, I thought tracking might. prevent that. I would have to charge too much though.

you really should set your handling time to 3 days but still post as you would normally. just gives you a little more wriggle room incase AP has a slow delivery day or 3.

Thank you, I'll take your advice David and Clarry. The only reason I haven't is because when I tried for 3 days a while ago it wouldn't let me so opted for 2. I tried again just now and it was gracious enough to allow it. I'll change all my listings to 3 days. Thanks again for the extra push 🙂
