Hi,
I have been selling on ebay for quite a few years now and i was just wondering if any other sellers have encountered this problem lately. On some items if the user buys it on the ebay app when they go to pay for the item it comes up with a error message saying that i cant send to their primary address. Ive rang ebay about 3 or 4 times about this and they say they have fixed it but it seems to come back with the same issue. Some buyers are good and just login to their accounts via a web browser but i have also had some very abusive ebayers that believe its my fault. Has anyone else got this issue ?
Thanks heaps, Louise

Same situation intermittently for several months now.
Sending an eBay invoice seems to circumvent the problem and allow the buyer to follow the prompts to make payment.

It's well known that the app is a horor story.
eBay is just too complex to be a happy expereince on the limited phone memory available for apps.
If the biyer contacts just send them to the html site and things will work normally as a rule.
I really don't know why people use apps when a perfectly viable website is available via their browser.

Sellers also have another problem which is when buyers like me whom have the App on their tiles on a W10 PC click on an item for sale and get an error message come up, so just sail pass that seller. Again it is random on which item shows the message which reads "String reference not set to an instance of a String Parameter name s:(EX). Sellers are missing out on sales

Why would you use the app on a real computer?
You as the buyer are possibly missing out, too, as you have no idea whether the one you skipped was the best for you.
Why not do what most do? Simply have eBay as a bookmarked tab on your browser.

Not everybody is as clever as you and can own a real computer -- whatever that is.

HUH??? The person Davewil replied to already said they were on a computer, so clearly they must be clever enough to own one..........unlike some........

Since when do you have to be clever to own a (real) computer.
Pity they didn't bring in the intelligence test years ago.
