Just a heads up to those who may not have heard. Product identifiers are now compulsary on new listings and EXISTING Good till cancelled listings from March 1st in a much extended range of catagories ( looks to be most catagories to me ) .
This only applies to items that are described as NEW and not used items. Existing GTC listings WILL NOT roll over if they dont have the product identifiers. The announcement doesnt say if they will go to unsold listings or just vanish into the ether. Basically if sellers have not already updated listings, the time has come. For further info see announcements or maybe one of the computer savvy forum users can post a link.

I don't have a store either, but I noticed in the last week or so when relisting some items that it's asking for the product identifiers and also a brand. None of the items have an identifier or a brand, so I select does not apply for the identifier and no brand for the brand. Those 2 boxes have a green asterix next to them so I had to put something in there or it wouldn't let me relist them.
Your listings will tell you if you need to add them.

Same with books.
Even though all mine are used, if I don't use an ISBN or "Does Not Apply' they won't auto-relist.

It looks like if it is New and has a Brand then you must put it the product identifiers. If it is new and you don't know the brand, then you don't have to put it in, just put "does not apply" or something like that.

In the brand box, there is the option for "no brand". That's all I put on the 4 or 5 listings that asked for it.
