Promoted Listings

Hello all,

I am trying to try "promoting" one of my listings to see if that gets me any traction with sales. As I try doing it and go with Ebay's recommended percentage, I keep getting the error message "There was a problem promoting your listing. Please try again."  - but with no explanation or guidance as to what the error is.  I'm not sure where I'm going wrong here.

Any ideas?

It could be because eBay consider you a new seller. You've only ever sold one thing, according to your feedback.

I can't help further, as I consider I give eBay enough money already, and won't pay them extra to 'promote' my listings.
