Provide label for Doesn't work or defective return

Just had my first "Doesn't work or defective" return in years as a seller.

I seem to remember we used to be able to provide our own return label, am I imagining that, or did that actually used to be an option?

This time I didn’t get the choice, and the label I was charged for cost several dollars more than what it would’ve cost me to send one myself.
Is there any way to handle this differently now?

Thanks

It depends on the postage service you are using.

AP MyPost Business has a return label option, which will be charged at your current MyPost Business rates.

If you generated the return through eBay you got the eBay rate.
