We are considering doing a Fair/Market, and have been advised will need to have Public Liability insurance, can anyone give any advice or suggestions or share their experience on this. HM to have, where to get it from, or any other ideas or suggestions? Thanks

I used to work in insurance but unfortunately not public liability per se.
Best bet would be to ask other market stall holders or the owners of where you're planning to set up.

Are you sure the insurance isn't included in the price of your stall? If it's not probably the best place to start is your insurance company:-)

No, most markets don't have insurance for the stall holders (at least none have and l've been doing markets for 30 odd years).
l am a reg'd second hand dealer and my insurance covers my business. Ring and ask any of the main insurance mobs but be warned, it isn't cheap.

Things must have changed, Jeanie; I have to admit it's been a while since I regularly did craft markets;-)
