Sometime I just have to giggle.
Buyer in NSW buys item and sends me a message which says:
"Please leave at the front door, thanks".
Ummm....
Another one, an 85 year old 0 rated buyer buys 4 items from me, then emails me to say they don't match her lampshades and is having problems retuning them to Ebay.
Gotta love em.

it may be that they want you to mark the package for safe dropping at their front door because they are not home during the day. Requests like that have been posted about here on the boards before.

Confirm with the NSW buyer that they are giving you permission for the postie/courier to leave the item unattended and unsigned for. It's what's known as "authority to leave".
As Sir Sales says, it can just be that 🙂

I got a message from a buyer yesterday "can you please put the feedback button back as I didn't finish marking the orange dots. I loved the item and it should be showing all the orange dots". I'm guessing she meant a star rating. She was most upset when I said that I couldn't put the feedback button back.
How nice would it be if we could put the feedback button back!

Yup, this is usually a postage instruction for the delivery driver, I often get them as part of the buyer's address as they generally expect it to be written on the package, but I have to just leave it off as it's not applicable for the postage service I use (large letters, small enough even for a below-average size letterbox most of the time). Also, specific delivery instructions can no longer be entered on the postage labels at all, not on eBay or C&S anyway, AFAIK (I actually turned off the setting for buyer's to leave me messages during checkout, I would have preferred to leave it on, but the function was causing me more grief than benefit, unfortunately).
Re: ATLs and safe dropping - and this is more of a heads up for sellers - Australia Post are now automatically giving buyers the option to override signature required parcels if you process them through eParcel or C&S (if you put a buyer's email address on the package, they will receive an email notification with a link to change SOD to safe-drop). If you purchase SOD, just keep an eye out for that if you don't want the packages to be safe-dropped (you can change the settings to disallow that option being provided to the recipient).
Re: quirky messages, I guess I was a little bemused when someone asked me earlier to reduce my shipping costs on an international package, because postage was higher than the item cost and it was a matter of principle. o_O

I can see now that she might have wanted me to write it on the package.
My powers of ESP are pretty poor though.
