RECEIVED NEGITIVE BECAUSE CUSTOMER NEVER RECEIVED ITEM WITHIN 1 WEEK
Frustrating an down right disappointing, item brought on a Saturday 22rd August send on the Monday 24th August thru Australia post, item was sent in area where post code 2527 covers big area, and Australia post stated to us could be up to 10 days delivery.
We had no contact from buyer just a negative, stating no delivery , we have had problems in this area before , did explain this to this chap also told him our great feedback for fast delivery , but very grumpy old man , who has no idea of the reality’s that sellers face , Ebay is to blame for this Sh-t the buyer should at least contact the seller before he give his decision , like a 48 hr time laps after their first inquiry , at least give the buyer a chance to resolve any issues.
I blot on my service I take it personal, it is a shame Ebay don’t look after their sellers who make them all their money like we look after our customers.

Just contact ebay and ask to have it removed as you have no control over the time it takes to deliver.

Do you have tracking for the shipment? If so, is it showing delivered yet? And if it is, you need to call eBay, direct them to that, and ask to have the negative removed.

I've started sending the following message after I mark items posted.... Seems to be working so far _ "Hello Again, Just a quick note as promised to advise that I posted your order this afternoon. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT EBAY'S ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATES ARE USUALLY INCORRECT. It often takes Australia Post a lot longer to process & deliver your parcels which is completely out of the control of Ebay Sellers. If you are happy with everything when it arrives please don’t forget to leave me Feedback. If not please contact me. Kind Regards, "
I wouldn't do that. The less information you give to the buyer IMO is better. That said though ebays estimated times are quite pointless when Australia Post are not providing a consistant service accross all types of mail, and it will get worse......

I agree that I would not put any negative statement in the listing. What a lot of sellers are doing is adding a few days to their handling time which extends the expected delivery date. Makes your service appear lightening fast when the item arrives in a couple of days lol.

Doesn't extending your handling time effect your seller ratting?.

Only if you believe in fairies in the garden eBay's 'best match' algorithm, which nobody at eBay seems to understand.
I don't do 30 day returns, express postage, 1 day handling... but I still sell stuff.
And, no, it doesn't affect your seller rating; only whether or not you get the Premium logo.
