Red Street Box Mail Clearance Days Xmas - New Year 2017-2108

Has anyone been able to find any info anywhere on what days these boxes will be cleared?

If some post offices are open and StarTrack and AP contractors are working that only leaves the posties to take advantage of the holiday.

I must admit I don't see why there is so much angst.  If people can't live without the services of the postal industry for a few days then it is just too bad.
