Releasing funds?

I sent an item on 5th February with tracking, but australia post doesn't scan it in ( it's still saying where I dropped it off and nothing more) I've emailed the buyer, but she didn't respond ( me asking if it's been delivered?) so I assume it's delivered and hasn't been scanned in. So does the theives at PayPal still release my funds even though it says it's not delivered and no possitive feedback? If no complaints do they assume everything went o.k. Funds due to release on Monday.

Your funds should be released on the date PayPal says they will be released, providing the buyer doesn't open a dispute of some kind. Sounds like it's just been treated as an untracked post, which takes 21 days to have the money released.

I've also got a parcel that has been scanned as lodged at the PO, but no further tracking info. (Vic to WA)   I have been told by the PO that it will probably only show further info once delivered.  I'm also to get email notification on tracking status - no emails received yet!!.

If I was you, I would get AP to start an investigation as to where it is.  I would not assume it has been delivered, but put the onus back on to AP to provide you with the status of the parcel.  

Considering you posted on the 5th and it is now the 22nd, enough time has gone by to get AP involved.

Even if PP release your funds on Monday, personally,  I would be still chasing it up through AP so there is no chance of your buyer claiming INR.

I did get the funds, but the tracking still says the same. Might open investigation anyway.😀
