I listed an item at a BIN that did not sell. I relisted the item, and I can't remember if I went through ebay, or my unsold items that went through my hotmail account, when I relisted the item.
I am 100 % sure that I did not list the BIN item for what it sold for. So what I am asking is , did ebay change the price of what they suggest I should sell it for, and me not realising when relisting it that the price had been changed, which was 3/4 of the price originally listed.
Hence the item sold. If this is the case, I have to check all items listed at a price that I am happy to sell them for.

Hi Kopenhagen5,
Thanks for getting back to me. This listing is on my ebay shop, as I have approx 1500 items, no auctions.
This account is not used too much, just for auctions, which once in a blue moon.

You can't remember how you relisted it... why would you expect to remember what you listed it for? i suspect you relisted it for the amount the buyer bought it for. Send it.
As an aside, the only way you can list an item is through a relist, sell similar, the eBay 'Sell Your Item' option or the app equivalents. All of those allow you to set the starting price/BIN.
100% it is your 'mistake'. Please enlighten us as to why the buyer should suffer.

Hi Dave,
I never said the buyer should suffer! I am happy to post for what it sold for, I was merely asking the question if it was a possibility!
You are too quick to jump to conclusions.
I can transfer my listings from my website, hence I know the price I was asking......
No wonder people are hesitant to ask questions on this forum if they get responses like yours , others are very helpful and very knowlegeable.

Please accept my apology.
I thought you were after facts.
I don't sugarcoat them
Transferring from your website, de facto, is a new listing, not a relist.

Hi Dave,
Thank you and your apology is accepted.
I am just trying to eliminate all avenues of error, including ebay, my website transfer, and human error, so this does not occur again.
I will always honour a sale, as I am not a newbie, and it gives sellers a bad name who don't follow through!
