Sold an item a couple of weeks back from a seemingly "normal" ebayer and he keep sending failed echeque payment to me.
the paypal payment failed after a few days' wait each time.
the first time failed - I think it's just an accident, the buyer sent me another echeque the next day a failed notice was received
failed again - ok, he's not very organised I think. The next day he sent me another echeque
failed again - somethings not quite right, because he sent me another echeque today. I don't even imagine it will go through this time.
Will wait and see.
I have not contacted the buyer all these times, he seems to be alerted on the failed payment. I don't bother contact him at all as he knows what's happening better than I do, if he's really paying he can always pay by bank transfer if he know his paypal->bank account has problem.
Anyone had this experience?
I don't want to open an unpaid case once the payment fail because he can always send in another echeque to close the unpaid case and I won't be able to open a case again.
looks like he's trying to stall something.
Just not happy with an odd buyer like this.

I would tell the buyer that if this one fails can he please pay into your bank account (enter details) and if the buyer is genuine they should pay or at the very least make contact with you and if there is no payment received one way or the other in 5 days open a non payer dispute.
