Is anyone having this porblem?
I reply all my eBay messages using Thunder Bird for the last few years and I never had a problem. Reasonally I have lost a few customers because my reply says "null" and that's it.
I asked my friend to send me a message via eBay and I replied it and all she got was "null" as the reply.
Any advise?

Perhaps delete it and download again

Ok, I have found out what the problem is.
I just tested the below scenarios
I used my friend's phone (Samsung Galaxy) and laptop to send myself a message. I sent the message via
I received all three messages with no problem. I replied all three message using Thunder Bird.
HOWEVER, the replied message (from the eBay App) only contains the word "null" and the other 2 scenarios are fine.
ALSO, I when i logged on to my friend's ebay inbox. I can only see the 2 replies. One from eBay Mobile Site and the other from eBay Full Site. The reply which contains the "null" message doesn't even come through to the eBay inbox.
I don't think it happens to all version of the eBay app. I have replied almost 300+ messages since 09.06.2014 only 5 buyers have asked me why I replied "null". LOST SALES DAMNIT!!!!! Not happy about that.
eBay, PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to keep posting but I think this is important for seller to know. I don't want good seller to lose any sales (like I did) because of it.
The message that was sent using the eBay app only returns a "null" reply if you reply using an email client (Thunderbird or Outlook...) if you reply the message using eBay message system online or eBay mobile site then it replies correctly.
Can someone from eBay please let us know once this is fixed??
I tested the above using eBay App Version 2.6.1.2 on Samesung Galaxy S4. I have no tested this with the IPhone App yet.

it using an email client then the message MAY not come though on their eBay inbox and the reply sent to their email MAY come back with the world "null".

You'll need to contact eBay by phone or email. Either use the Contact eBay links under Customer Support on the main menu or click on the Report the Problem link on this page

Dear international-tyre-trader-australia,
If you can't supply postage why the hell do you quite it on your page. take it down if yiu can't. it's false advertising and also a little bit more of an effort in your reply wouldn't kill you. null.... **bleep**..... your product must me ok but your your customer service suck ass. cheers.
Dear international-tyre-trader-australia,
Hello
I asked you how much the postage is if i buy the second item amd you said "null"
. Why did you now add an extra shipping price?
I dont want the tyres if i have to pay shipping
Dear international-tyre-trader-australia,
Null meaning, you won't freight or no charge?
Thanks
Chris
Dear international-tyre-trader-australia,
Hi. There has been some confusion during this purchase. I kept receiving "null" as a reply to all questions I asked when I wanted to make payment and also before placing the order. I asked what the shipping cost is to Perth and the answer came back stating "null" meaning no charge. I had to buy tyres quickly and purchased from somebody else. Please cancel my order. Appologies for the inconvenience.
Dear international-tyre-trader-australia,
Sorry, nil or null, as in not available?
eBay said no one is having this porblem?!?!?!?!??!! reallly?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
