Response from Ebay Ebay re Problems with Ebay Labels March 2014 & Refund of label costs

I just got off the phone from CS and queired where my refund was for lebals printed between 9 - 20 March 2015.

I have already received a refund of $17.00 apprx stating is was postage reimbursements on April Account.

CS has now advised me this email did not come from EBAY!!!!

It was sent to my personal Email account and does not appear in my Ebay messages???

They advised me to send a copy to their Fraud department which I have done

I then asked if my account or Ebay had then been hacked???  and why would they have my email address and knew I had contacted them re the issue with the labels.  He could not answer that!!!

Why then did I receive a reimbursement...which did not add up to the total labels printed should have been around $40 approx.

I know others received this same email...and were not told it was a SCAM email...

Has anyone esle been told this.. and more importantly.. the issue of me already receiving a refund on postage would show that it did come from Ebay

I received a credit for $24, should have been around $80, have contacted eBay and was told I will get the refund as promised, but it has to be approved by the powers above.  That was 2 weeks, followed up yesterday, still awaiting next response.

I am just so happy I never got involved with this eBay label thing!

Sticking with Click & Send was an easy choice for me as eBay have yet to put a new system in place without bugs.

With an ABN there is virtually no diference in price and the aggravation levels are decidedly lower.

Yes same here for same reasons.

Never felt I could trust it to start with.

Yes its cheaper... but is it really after ebay fail to refund as required.

C&S does have its glitches but for the most part it works OK.

I agree Clarry and I know AP aren't perfect by any means.

It's just that they're a lot less imperfect than eBay (and they don't change the system every 5 minutes either).

At $7.20 and $11.75 per 500g and 3kg it's still only cents the difference so for me the good far outweighs the bad.

I quite like the automated tracking advice via email I can sign the buyers up for as well.

Also, the eBay system was just not well thought out.

It requires navigation to a new page for each label which is very time consuming.

AP gather eBays own sales data and allow for sequential processing from the one page.

@I can also print my labels in bulk @ 4 to a page.

As a plus I'm not involved with ebay CS attempting to get problems (not) sorted out either!

yep seems way to much added stress for the tiniest of savings. Add up the cost of phonecalls, hours sitting on the phone etc etc. It's just not worth it. I don't even use click and send
