I began cancelling a product by accident (thinking it was another damaged item). I got up to refunding the buyer and want to reverse what I've done.
Even worse it seems because I promoted the item, eBay has taken the money (and only that money) already from my eBay so now I have -$100 or so on my account. So if I go ahead with the cancellation and relist the item, letting the buyer know, I'm afraid they will still leave the charge on my account.
Any help, thanks

If the item isn't damaged why would you want to complete the cancellation, only to go and relist it ?

There's no need to be afraid of the charge. I can assure you that there's no way it can cause you physical harm.
If you cancel using the reason "Out of stock or damaged", your account will receive a defect.

I really tried to make sense of this- but somehow totally lost.
Could you be a little more explicit on what actually occurred.
