I am very shocked as to what has heppened to me today.
Earlier on today a ebay member sent me a msg that said he is confused because he has seen my items up for sale by another member with the exact same pictures and titles but for 1/4 of the price i start my listings at.
At first i got confused and thought this guy is just tying to get the items cheaper or something, but i thought hmm il do a search and see what he is talking about.
5 sconds later i found listings of the items i sell with the exact same pics for 1/4 of the price.wtf?
The member told me that they have had these listings up for a week orso and have even sold a couple.
While i was searchig i noticed a second seller with the exact same listings up but only has zero feedback but has taken even more of my pics and titles, even misleading ppl and saying parts will fit models they will not fit and claiming awesome looking chrome parts as being his work but polished.
The listings also says bank deposit preferred cos of paypal fees, from a zero feedback seller.
I polish and chrome car parts just as a hobby and sell them here on ebay, up untill today this kind of thing has never happened in more than a year iv been selling my work here and im quite angry and shocked that some losser needs to steal my hard work eg pics and tittles just so he can sell his dodgy work.
The pictures of the parts isnt even his work and im sure what ppl receive wont look anything like the parts i sell.
The worst things of this is ppl will look at me because he is using my pics and tittles so if they dont get what they paid for i may get abusive msgs.
And i did so much work on this show car a few months back and the guy said i could use a few pics of the engine bay for my adds, well he has stolen them too and put them in his adds.
SHOCKING 😞

If you use Turo Lister you can watermark your photos.
Other than that do up a sigh to have showing in the photos with your ID on them.
It will need to cover a bit of the item though or they can photo shop it out.

Unfortunately - watermarking is an absolute must do on all your photos.
Use your business name or whatever, anything that will identify your listings.
Thieves will think twice about steeling photos with watermarks.

I believe you can report them to eBay.
How did they get your pictures? I thought eBay watermarked them. If they are hosted on the net somewhere, you could always change the pics attached to those file names (after copying and renaming them for you to use).
I seem to remember a couple of years ago someone whose pics had been stolen did just that - replacing them with photos of a somewhat.... errr.... interesting nature. Not quite sure how it was done, but I'm sure someone here could tell you.

including a large pachyderm producing manure ? i remember someone doing that . it was simply a matter of replacing photobucket pics with selected 'off-putting' photos then :^O

I see copies of bits of my listings all the time but, a little over a week ago, another member used my picture and heading. I reported it to ebay on the Sunday night and it was gone by Monday lunchime.

How do you watermark them in turbolister?

I've never done it. But I found this in help section in Turbolister.
Adding watermarks to your photos
There are two types of watermarks: a camera icon and your user ID emblem. After selecting the watermark options, eBay Services adds them while optimizing the image quality.
To add watermarks to photos:
Select Tools > Options.
Select Advanced Options > eBay Services.
Select one or both of the watermark options.
Click OK.
Watermarks are added to photos after you upload the new listing(s) to eBay.

I think these were more along the lines of lingerie clad modelsL L (and I use the word 'clad' in the loosest possible sense) Mind you, in case I should ever start selling and someone decides to steal my pics, I do happen to have an image of that aforementioned pachyderm.:^O
