Am I able to suspend my listings while I am away on holiday or do I need to cancel them and relist when back? I'm not a store just a regular seller

Without a store it's a little more complicated...but still doable...
I've just suspended all my listings (without a store) due to holidays this week.
You need to change your ebay preferences to 'use of stock feature'
http://sellercentre.ebay.com.au/news/out-of-stock
Then change the level of stock to '0'. That way the listing is still 'live' but no stock until you return & change the stock back to '1'.
Once you return & 'increase' your stock level back to normal - change your ebay preferences back to disable the 'out of stock' feature.

Thanks so much for that info. So I have gone into Selling Preferences and checked 'Yes' and hit apply.....so when I am ready to go off on my holiday I will then review each individual listing and change the quantity to Zero?

If the listings were on this ID then they have disappeared completely....not even showing as ended.

Hi Lyndal,
yes that's right.
I have 23 GTC listings on this ID. They are still 'live' with '0' stock level - so essentially the listings are on 'holiday' mode' too & not showing.
Also, as I don't have to end each listing when on holiday so I keep my previous 'sold' history which is a bonus.
I don't change my 'use out of stock' preferences back to 'NO' when I return as I never run out of stock of any item & all my listings have multiple quantities available.
I used to have a store - but when BIN listings could be made to GTC or 30 day it made more sense (plus was cheaper) to ditch the store & use the 40 free listings available.

There is now the option for "Time Away" and you can select the dates, items can still sell & buy is informed. Delivery dates are auto adjusted! GREAT!
