This is my first ebay sale and customer keeps saying they are having problems with paypal and want my email address or bpay details. How do I handle this?

Can't see money order or stamps, either, but that doesn't mean they're not used.

money orders are listed. Stamps, although are technically legal tender, are not commonly used as such

As bank deposit is an acceptable payment form on ebay, if a seller is registered with their banking institution for the bpay service and has a bpay biller code - can't see any ebay policy reason why bpay would not be an ok method to make payment ?
That said, it may be a tad more complex for sellers to institute and reconcile at their end, as each transanction would need to be issued a seperate reference number at time of sale, whether buyer was paying that way or not.
IMO Bpay is most suitable for recurring payments.

PJ, as I said in an earlier post, eBay specifically told me that they have no problems with me paying by BPay, if that is how I wished to do so (and obviously if the seller offers me that medium). They said that I could pay in any manner that I felt comfortable in doing so.
Money received via bank deposit and BPay are treated in the same manner and are both considered to be legal tender.
The ease of use or accessibility to that resource is not the issue, the facts remain that eBay allows it, it is not illegal to do so and you can pay for an item purchased on eBay via BPay.
