We are starting to get a bit edgy as selling is around 50% of our total income needed to survive,
and it has been part of our income for the last 10 years and it's not looking good.
Might have to soon have my hubby go and get a second job lol.

Lots of people on the boards agree that sales have been slow since February. I haven't sold a thing since Monday, normally average a sale a day. We're all hoping it will pick up in the silly season.

It honestly depends on what you are selling.
I've had a pretty good July and August, so I can't complain.
I'm getting quite a few return customers this year as more and more people become "followers" of my shop.
Actually I have more Ebay followers than Facebook friends, LOL.

our sales on ebay dropped from a 1000 feedback a month store to 200 a month a lot a few years ago. 75% due to counterfeit products sold from China at $1 free shipping and nothing can be done to remove these listings as Disney, Nickelodeon etc are not in the Vero program / dont care. Meanwhile the Chinese and dodgy Australians sell fake rubbish en masse and ebay profits from it. Even more laughably so called reputable outlets like Big W are allowing people to pick these items up in their stores while the genuine products they sell go unpurchased as a result as fake stuff is cheaper. It's a crazy world.
