Hi all......So I was considering closing my store dues to the increase in fees and slow sales. I'm now enjoying a great week with sales up! I'm wondering if a lot of people have closed stores and that could be a reason?

Seeing what you sell i would also assume that because others may have closed their stores could be the reason why your sales are up. Costume jewellery is/was a hottly contested market. Be prepared for the influx of sellers though as they will come back.

If that is the case I will make the most of it while I can ๐

also need to remember that a week or two of good sales can be just that... a 'good' week or two of sales. Could just be coincidence.
Hopefully for you though it sticks around ๐

It has made no difference to me that I can tell. My sales have been steady and reasonably good for nearly 2 months now.
I even took some time out to look at my competitors and there are a couple of new folks joining the frey - so in my view I wouldn't say there is any difference at all - the folks selling in the same categories as me seem to be sticking around.
I personally don't think the increased shop fees are a problem, having to offer "free" post - when it comes early next year will be a far greater threat to my business as I will loose TRS because I won't be offering "free" post for my lower value items.
