Scam seller?

Hi, if I suspect a seller making false claims on their listings do you think I should contact ebay.
I believe some buyers are paying too much for plated jewellery, and is it alright for me to give you a item no for you to look at so
You can see this sellers completed listings, or is it against policy,
Thanks.

Re: Scam seller?

Yes they are fakes but they are also listed as white gold filled which makes a lot of difference to the value.  Anyone who knows anything about jewellery would not fall for it.

Re: Scam seller?

Hi, just a follow up on the scam seller. there listing and all completed listings have all disappeared so looks
Like ebay have removed it. Thanks to you all for your replys and hopefully they will think twice if there is a next time.
I just hope the buyers who paid heaps for a plated ring will get there money back.
What I can't figure is why There was no feedback left from any one of them. Once a buyer pays can you block them
So they don't leave feedback or you can't. Thanks.

Re: Scam seller?

When ebay removes a listing it disappears completely so no feedback can be left.

You will probably find that in these cases the sellers will disappear also, so no need for any feedback as they are no longer sellers on ebay.

Re: Scam seller?

Before the listing was removed they had 8 sales but no feedback.
I understand that some buyers don't leave feedback but I did think that if a buyer was unhappy with their purchase
There would have at least 1or 2 negs that's why I thought that maybe the seller could block the buyer after they paid so other new bidders wouldn't see the neg's.

Buyers don't leave feedback till after they have received their items and scammers tend to "string" buyers along and

make them belief that the items are still coming.

A seller can't block a buyer from leaving feedback.

The only way members can't see feedback from others is if they have their feedback set to private.

An active seller can not set their feedback to private.
