Scared of selling now .

I used to sell rare expensive items on another account , eBay has send me offers to start selling again ' but I feel to scared of being ripped off with the buyer guarantee of money back & keep the item if not described . 

Although I'd like to sell again & contribute my substantial fees to eBay's coffers I don't feel safe to use this platform until those risk factors are rectified .

Your thoughts please ?

i dont  blame ebay for australia posts mistakes.. but their delivery times dont always work and when they dont,  i get mark against me for late delivery despite doing everything as per ebays rules and posting within 24 hrs or same day if the payment is early enough.

helen i have checked a few posters here on this thread  and to get to my postcode  its between 17./11  to 23/11  from nsw  and melbourne 3 different posters so if i brought from them today  they have a minimum of 10 days to get to me, as today is the 7/11.

try and click some of the posters on this thread and see what you get. very simple.

i was given 6 days for the item i sent to arrive from melbourne to south australia .

which is plenty of time , you blame ebay for that,   after you paid all the extras  tracking signatures and that , dont you think 2 days or 3 max would of being delivered.

2 or 3 days interstate for australia post ,your kidding right.. on rare occasions yes , ive bought an item from the same suburb posted because i didnt have time to pick it up ..and the item which was a 15minute walk away took 7 days to arrive.

Most weeks I probarbly buy 20+ items through Ebay most are out of state I am in QLD and a majority comes from NSW and I find approx 40% of the things I buy come within a few days. I have also had things that are local take weeks to arrive for me AP in general is pretty good except the cost of course. 

Saying that I think Ebay's timing is 100% unfair because this is something totally out of our control
