I am seeking advice from sellers that currently offer post to New Zealand as to the most appropriate option (cheapest that can meet paypal seller protection requirement) for sending parcels, mainly under 500gram range and sometimes 2 or 3kg.
The international calculator has given me several different results for same weight ?:|?:|?:| so I am slightly confused.
Thanks

I think Pack and Track is probably the best value for sending to NZ (it was designed to be fully PayPal compliant) - the price of a parcel under 500gm is $16.25. 1.5kg-2kg is $44.00 (the pre-paid bags would be best for items over 500g up to 1kg, if bought in lots of 5 they're $24.65 each, which is $1.90 cheaper than the non-prepaid 500g-1kg rate).

You could also take a look at Skippy Post
http://www.skippypost.com.au
There's a Rate Estimator tab near the top RHS of the page. Cost to send 1kg by 'Economy Airmail' is $14.65, or if you wish to track the parcel, use SkippyTracker at $17.58.
Have a read of how Skippy Post works - there is an About Us and a FAQ section, but if you want to know more, I'm happy to answer questions. We have been using them for nearly 7 years and it's saved us a heap of $$ sending international parcels.

I am not sure how Skippy post works - do you prepare a parcel and then send it through Australia Post to their depot for them to forward on? So what is the $8 shipping fee?
Or better still, what will it cost me altogether to send 1 kg book to New Zealand with tracking?
I had a look at their site, but it is a bit early in the morning for me I think ๐
