Bank deposit?
Im wanting to buy a Pocket bike for my self but the seller will only accept a direct bank transfer, when I asked for a photo of said bike he made an excuse about being with his kids.
Im very skeptical of paying for this.
And being an Australian citizen am I entitled to a refund if I am scammed?

No protection.
Never pay by DD, it's the same as just giving someone money, zero protection.
Even if you used PayPal, from memory PayPal don't cover these items as they come under vehicles.
(besides it screams of a scam, this category has been very popular for scams)
Only way to buy these is to find one locally and inspect it, then pay cash and take it home.

Not sure how being an Australian citizen grants you anything as far as buying from a person you suspect may be trying to scam you?
Why would you even want risk buying from such a seller ?
Makes no sense at all
How does this seller get around having to offer a safe payment method ?
I would stay far,far away

It's listed in the Cars, Bikes, Boats category, which doesn't require PayPal to be offered.
184093784240 Is this the seller? Registered 5 days ago with a total of 3 FB comments (two for purchases made by the same seller, and one from a buyer just saying "Hi my name is..." ?
Selling as "pre-orders" so he gets about a month before people start asking for their bikes?
List price less than half the average price?
Scam.

All items have been removed but only after 10 idiots "bought" one today.
Making a total of 16 sold as some sold more than one of the models.
Put 3 of them in my watch list after reported then yesterday and received a message for a further 24% off for
one of them.
That's still over $2800 for the seller if they paid by bank deposit (minus any discount the "seller" gave because
numpty gullible buyers have no idea).
