I love their TOS:
6.Please ASK ALL QUESTIONS Prior to making ANY BIDS.
7.Please do not bid if you are unable to provide photo identification to the booking company and hotel upon request.
8.Please read notes & descriptions carefully and avoid raising irrelevant questions.
9.Please do not re-raise questions already answered and listed.

wouldn't this be classified as a digitally delivered good?
Voucher details sent via email and automatically registered to owner upon payment completion.
does this mean that there is an actual physical ticket/voucher posted to you? you know, via Aus Post kind of thing, or do they just mean they're going to use your PayPal email addy. (I'm too scared to ask!)
Voucher will be addressed & registered to PAYPAL owner. (for paypal payments)
But for goodness sakes - how long can a listing be? The content included just in the details sections of their listing is 3, 977 words long!

The concept is clever marketing strategy though and a great alternative to telemarketing and alternate methods of advertisement.
The heads in beds cost nothing if the hotel already has a set full time staff - just having a room sitting empty costs the hotel money, not just in staff but other areas concerning fixed maintenance and regulation compliance costs.. At least with heads in beds, they increase their chances of generating income through their F&B departments or other services etc
I wonder though how many people will come across their listings as they are though?
I mean wouldn't you write holiday or something in the title?
OP. may I ask how you came across them? where you specifically looking on eBay for accommodation/holidays?
It's just never occurred to me to do that.

They also say in that listing that they will use your PayPal email addy to send future offers???
a) I thought that was against the policies ie: use of contact information, and
b) doesn't this also allude to off eBay sales/offers?
and if I pay by bank deposit (is that what they mean by eftpos?) cos their listing says bank deposit but their listing says only eftpos or paypal.) how do they get my email addy?
so many questions
I really reckon this is one for trust and safety.
it says unlikely vouchers will be able to be used within minimum 4 weeks but advises 3 to 4 MONTHS????
what happens if the hotel closes down by then, or what happens iof they never have the availability before the 12 months expires? (it says subject to availability)
and yeah, in consideration, the whole demand for feedback thing upon delivery of emailed voucher, which apparently happens once paid???

oh, thanks, that just never occurred to me before.
did you receive physical vouchers or just the email ones?
was this particular transaction similar to others you've had? ie the length of T&C etc (disregarding the feedback thing) their future use of your email addy?
or are you able to answer any of the other hundred gazillion questions I asked up there LOL?
Pleasae?
