i saw this item which is only an ink cartridge and the seller has listed as a pick up only
i messaged them twice in the last 48 hours enquiring about postage, they have not got back
and the item ends in about 2 hours so looks like this seller is missing on extra money

Some sellers don't reply to emails and some don't use their computer every day.

That's the only way to avoid being hit with an unexpectedly high postage cost. I doubt a small cartridge is pick up only. They may need to find out how much postage will cost but it isn't a good way to do things.

The seller has chosen "pick up only" so maybe you should show them some respect and accept it is their right and their decision to list the item that way.
It doesn't matter if you think they are losing a sale, it is their choice, they don't have to tug their forlock just because you have emailed them
And for those that think "it isn't a good way to do things", so what? It is the seller's choice.

In general, OP, I completely agree with you. Sellers should most definitely answer questions.
Even if they think it's a "dumb" question, or they are annoyed as the answer is in the listing, they should still suck it up and answer. It's called customer service.
Those who think they don't have to answer, are lazy sellers IMO.
Avoid those ones!

i dont think its a dumb question as i wont bid until i know the postage cost, the item was only 1 cartridge as it would go as a small parcel.....the listing has finished and it sold for 99c so the seller has lost out on extra money.....maybe other people had the same thing in mind but wouldnt bid as it was a pick up

rjm6572, I didn't mean your question was a dumb one. I meant in general.
Anyhow... *whistles and walks away*
