The insertion fee on an item starting at $900 (if in a general category, not a specialty category like cars), and without qualifying for $0, is $3.00
Final value fee for general categories is 7.9% of the sale price, so on $3500 it would be $276.50, but if it qualified for a 0 insertion fee, the FVF is capped at $100.

unless it is a car/boat/bike, where different fees and rules apply, if you start your item at $900 there is no guarantee that it will sell for $3,500 or any other figure.
if you start it at $900 and only get 1 bid it will sell for $900... apart from those categories mentioned there are NO RESERVES on ebay australia.
