Setting up an ebay sale so its only available to a certain buyer

I have something to sell and i have a buyer who wants it.

I want to set up the item for sale via ebay but i only want it to be available to this certain buyer.

Is that possible?

That's an excellent idea, and buyer simply puts in amount agreed as an offer which seller accepts. That will be my new suggestion on these, thanks 3coopers.

I have a GTC listing for custom orders. In the description and title I state that I must be contacted to arrange the product and price and I edit the listing description to reflect what the buyer wants. I have never had anyone order without contacting me. It is visable to everyone though.

It was just easier to use a GTC listing rather than creating a seperate listing every time for requests. Plus it may save a few dollars if I get more than 2 requests a month. Not sure if it is against ebay policies though.

Why not just send an invoice through paypal, not breaking ebays policies my be difficult though, contact/request would have needed to be made outside of ebay.
