Shipping overseas - alternatives to Australia Post

Hi folks

I am feeling discouraged by some of the postage costs.

I want to use my AP Bx4 boxes (43 x 30.5 x 14cm) to send items weighing 1-1.5kg to UK, US etc.

A quick check of the Aust Post site gave me a price of around $70 to UK (including cover up to $200)

Are there any reliable more economical alternatives (not slow boat)? I have never shipped using

a non Australia Post service. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel or should I stick to shipping

within Aust except for small packages? Thanks in advance.

Try looking at Sendle also.  I almost signed up with them but the savings were very small vs. learning a whole new shipping system.

They even offered to give me a free upgrade for a year if I signed but I can't remember why I turned it down.  Might be suitable for you.

Finally I got caught out, usually notice the date but had to miss one eventually.
