Should I be wary

I had a buyer contact me with an offer (I didn't see their email as I was at work), then they ended up buying the thing at the full listed price 15 minutes later.

Are they going to come back to me and say 'I didn't want to buy it full price'? I'm hoping they just decided 'What the heck, I'll just buy it', but you just never know.

This is common. Issues i have is when they make an offer you accept they never end up paying.

Wow that's a nuisance (offers and not paying). 😡

Maybe the buyer really wanted the item and was just afraid somebody else would buy it. I don't know the exact wording right now, but eBay does encourage people to buy an item after an offer "if they don't want to wait".
