Signature required change to ATL Authority to leave with SENDLE

I always have signature required on my deliveries, just printed a sendle lable that stated it was signature on delivery but now when I look at the label is says ATL Authority to Leave on it. I need this signed for considering I have had other ebay buyers deny they received goods when they have... how do I change this or am I unable to?

Have you been using Sendle in the past or AP ?   It could be a Sendle policy, if so change to AP and you won't have the problem.

Note. Because of COVID it's usually the postie/courier that either signs or takes a photo of the item at the buyers house.

Yes ive used sendle heaps never had this issue.. if I change to AUSPOST will I get charged twice for postage as Ive already printed the sendle label, item has not been sent yet though.

No, you will only get charged by Sendle if you use the label apparently.

It's because of "contactless delivery".

With AP, the driver is supposed to sign for the recipient (in the recipient's presence), although some people said their parcels have just been left if a safe (or not so safe) place.

With Sendle, this is what they say on their website:

Current orders booked with ‘Signature on Delivery’ may be changed to ‘Authority to Leave’ (done at the driver’s discretion). If the parcel couldn’t be delivered safely, you can request redelivery and choose Authority to Leave.
