So over Non Paying Bidders

Not selling all that much recently, but OMG, the number of non-payers is ridiculous. At least one or two a week. Now when you only sell a few items each week it’s beyond a joke.

as a seller, if you do the wrong thing (and even when you do the right thing) you get punished, but dead beat non payers get away with it.

what peevs me even more is, I send a polite email asking if they wish to cancel the transaction, there’s no issue but could they let me know out of courtesy. But of course not. Plain rude!  Might start just listing BINs with immediate payment.

But you only sold it yesterday, the buyer has 4 days to pay no matter what, too early to say it's a non-paying bidder I'd have thought.

I do hope you realise there's a 21 day hold on the funds (or until you can prove delivery and/or the buyer leaves positive feedback) after they've been cleared through Paypal because you'll be seen by eBay as a "new seller" after not having sold anything for over a year.

That does not mean that you can hold off sending for 21 days, you should be sending within your 2 business day handling time.

The other concerning thing about the laptop, it's an American model are you ceratin that it will work on our 240volt system ?

Certainly no questions asked, just aspersions because a buyer didn't pay. Which is apparently eBay's fault. If I was the buyer and I got messages from a seller using the tone used here, I would wear the strike as a badge of honour.

Yeah - letting off some steam, but I discoverd the truth, the logic behind all these non paying bidders. It's eBay trying to extort it's Sellers, it's bread and butter !  It's totally disgusting and so bloody obvious ! This is the new serfdom economy.  Well it's not funny and I'm not playing.

Oh, when you leave eBay, don't slam the door on the way out. I'm sure the whole company will close down because you left. Yes, see the company close down because you left. That will show them. OMG, whatever will the rest of us do? Don't close down ebay, please don't! I know water111dog leaving is going to mean the demise of the company, but please don't close down. We can recover from this. I know he was pivotal in keeping things running, what with his whopping 75 feedback, but don't punish the rest of us.

lol - oh thanks for reminding me about the HELL you have to go through to get your money if they pay by PayPal. As for the 240volt plug - give me a break. I WORKED for my feedback, I EARNED my feedback. And this is what honesty (and naivety) gets you in the eBay Gulag - **bleep**ed over like a $10 hooker. Well guess what I just got streetwise. There must be a **bleep**ing Army of fake buyers spoofing the Sellers (PRISIONORS) in what used to be a great community a VERY long time ago. Good ridance !

Not one person has come and say - hey yeah eBay are bunh of **bleep** or there are a lot of asshles out there. All I see is EVERYONE defending this multinaional that everyone knows has been abusing it's Serllers for years. Maybe I should put in a complaint and say I'm a Homosexual climate change actaivst that needs a sex change operation to have my **bleep**ing balls cut off : ) Maybe then eBay wouldnt spoof my **bleep**ing add and treat me like a pile of dog **bleep** !

Most of us prefer not to use offensive language to complain about a non paying bidder who may not even be a non payer.

And you knew about ebay's rules before you listed your item so why the foul language now?
