Since there are still questions being asked regarding IE issues, I'm going to post the best fix here, in selling, which is where most people strike problems.
Try this if you're using IE and have had a problem with setting up a listing, html, signing in, viewing pages or pretty much anything:
(1) clear out your cache and cookies, and reboot if necessary (usually enough for a sign in loop)
(2) go to tools menu in Internet Explorer, then Compatibility View Settings, add ebay.com.au, ok. The screen will reload and should be OK if you weren't seeing it right/able to do stuff.
If that doesn't work, give Chrome a go as it's more eBay friendly, or Firefox.
Note: bear in mind eBay has regular maintenance on Friday afternoons/nights, and there can be gremlins then

If you are using an iPad, you'll need to see the desktop view, not the mobile view, for certain functions.
Safari, the default built-in browser, will not show all the buttons you need...Chrome can increase options on eBay, such as editing your profile.
iPad eBay problems:
If you use an iPad install Chrome (from the App store), go to ebay.com.au, then go to the top right and click on the three lines next to the microphone, get the menu up, and request desktop site.
