Am I able to block buyers from contacting me?

I have had a user messaging me inappropriately.

What also concerns me (well my husband more than me) is that he is quoting listings from months ago yet the user is only a few days old which means they have been following my account under different user accounts

Hi
Thank you for the advice.
I genuinely did not know what shilling was and do don't bid on my own items.
I have looked at the accounts that I see you are referring to and agree it does look very odd.

I do have some great constant buyers and then I have ones that bid and do not pay etc.

I think an issue I may have caused myself which I thought was a good thing may have gone against me. For example I had 12 chemical cabinets I was selling. Sold them in sets of 2. When the first lot sold, instead of starting a new listing I relisted so that I wouldn't need to enter everything again and that way the ones who were watching and bidding would see it again. It did work and I had the same person purchase 3 lots of them. However now after reading about shilling etc I think it may look negatively against me.

I have been starting the listings at 99c after an email from eBay suggesting to do so. Most of the items ate second hand and I don't mind them going low. This is just a hobby to clear out mine and my parents houses.

Now in regards to contacting ebay about the suspicious listings;
Do I call the customer care number?
Which info do I give them?
The auction ID or the bidder ID?

If you say that you're not shill bidding then you don't need to contact ebay about anything.

These are your listings and they aren't suspicious to you are they? because you listed them lol.

Never start an auction at 99c just because ebay say so,you're better off starting at the minimum you're

willing to accept.

If you are listing your items for 99c and they sell for that, then you charge $7.45+ for postage, by the time eBay and PayPal take their fees from you, your are actually PAYING to get rid of your items, instead of making money from them. You'd be better throwing them in the bin. You don't have to pay for that.
