Strange happenings on Ebay pages

Long time reader, first time poster - be gentle please (LOL)!

Since yesterday morning I have noticed some changes on the EBay pages.

  • I seem to have to click any links twice to open them
  • I can no longer select text anywhere on Ebay's pages (other sites work fine, it's just here)
  • I can no longer drag the scroll bar up an down, I can use my mouse scroll wheel but if you need to go a long way to the bottom of the age that is much slower.

Can anyone help me out here?

I'm thinking it might be a Chrome thing as I use Chrome for my selling ID and Firefox for buying and forum browsing on this ID and everything seems to be okay in Firefox.  It only seems to be happening on Chrome and only on Ebay.

I read a lot about clearing cookies which seems to be the savour of many with these sort of glitches, can anyone tell me how to do this on Chrome Version 35.0.1916.153 m as I can't find it anywhere?

Thanks in advance,

Penny

The boards changed some time last week and it now needs a double click to open threads etc.

To clear the cache in Chrome click on the menu button (the 3 horizontal bars) > Tools > Clear browsing data. Or use Ctrl Shift Del.

Thanks, but it didn't help with the selecting or scrolling issues.  Any other suggestions?  Do you know if the Chrome version I posted is the very latest?  Maybe I need to do an update?

I'm using Version 36.0.1985.125 m

I don't regularly use Chrome with eBay, I prefer Firefox but I don't seem to be having any problems. I can select text and use the mouse wheel to scroll.

In Chrome I do have to double-click on menu options and tabs that only require one click in Firefox.

Thanks, I might try updating Chrome and see if that makes a difference.

If I have trouble with the mouse scrolling, I refresh the page,

that seems to work.

As for going to the bottom of the page,  hit the  'end'  button
