Struggling with shipping costs, it costs 3-4 times more to post than the item can be worth?

you could always group together a few low cost items to sell in one package to justify the post amount.

or

really emphasize and encourage combined postage.

Wow! Haolove. That's way high.

We almost exclusively send by large letter in just regular envelopes. Mostly 2x stamps.

We would estimate that about 1 in 500 are reported lost. That's about 0.2%.

Since our stuff is low cost we simply ask the buyer to confirm the address and send out another one if the address was correct.

Just last week a buyer reported an item had not arrived after 5-weeks. Yeah it sure took them long enuff to realsie they did not get it.

We asked them to confirm address and also go to their local PO to check if they were holding it.

They came back next day and said the PO had it. So good outcome.

But they had never been carded.
