Super Sunday Promo

The items I listed for the 24 hour Promo  are coming off my 40 free listings. Do I still get the Promo offer for these? Thank you Patricia.

The promo ended at midnight last night, but there's a better one today - the Christmas in July one.

Christmas in July: List & Sell for Free.

Pay $0 Insertion & Final Value Fees.

30/07/18 - 31/07/18.

What's the catch???  I can't see eBay getting nothing out of it.

I think the idea is to have more things listed on the site offering a better variety.

Also, if items don't sell first time round, Ebay can collect fees on future sales.

Not if you use the auto FREE relists - 8 of them now! But of course you pay FVF on the relists, but not insertion fees if the latter is what you're referring to.

We meant FVF.

If sellers use the FREE auto-relists they don't have to actually decide whether or not to relist an item on which they will pay fees if it sells after the initial period.

Yes I'm aware of that. However lately, we've been lucky enough to have monthly $0 fee promotions, so if you use them to your advantage you can eliminate fees. And then of course there has been the Sunday $1 promos.

If that $0 fee promotion doesn't continue, I'm happy to have it re-lst 8 times for free and then pay the FVF. Saves a lot of time.

Many thanks to all those who have replied, I might try it out, warily though.

You obviously think carefully about how and when you list your items, as do we.

Ebay are counting on the many less conscientious sellers who don't read the T&C's for offers and may not understand that FVF's apply to the relists.
