It is clear that a whole bunch of programmers think that adding more features and information helps us users. All it does is frustrate and make things overly complicated.
There is a saying: KISS, not the pop group but Keep It Simple Stupid!
If Ebay is losing customers then maybe they could have a look at Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace and AliExpress (for buying and they accept PayPal). Easy to use with simple interfaces.
Has anyone had a close look at the selling page lately? My god it is absurd. Why can't we have a simple page showing our sales and their progress? do you really think we need to be told how many items we are selling or the rest of that table full of **bleep**?
When I sell now, the first place is Facebook then Ebay

Yes it is if eBay sees you as a "new seller" eg if you haven't sold in over a year etc.
Check out the selling pages in the "eBay help" link at the top of the page - I'm sure you can find that easily enough.

It certainly is, and it will apply to you. Note; the hold will be 21 or 30 days depending on a number of factors.
Note 2. It can also be extended by ebay for up to 180 days.
Note 3. You are required to ship within your handling time, as soon as ebay tells you the item has been paid for. You do not get to wait to receive payment.
5 minutes of research prior to listing, and you would have been aware of this, likewise 15 minutes of research prior to signing on to managed payments.
And as stated in my original post, the hold on your funds would have been applicable under the old PP payment system, for about the last 4 yrs.
If you contact ebay, request they design a system just for you, then they can employ a heap more programmers just to PYO.
I am also extremely satisfied that you were able to fully comprehend my previous post,(was concerned it may have been beyond you), your subsequent reply is water of a ducks back to me, but confirms it served its purpose.

I don't wish to engage with you any more. I don't wish to try to help you, or provide factual information, only to be on the receiving end of a combative or abusive post if you don't like what I post.
I will say, however, that on these boards, using the first letters of abusive phrases is the same as typing out the words of the phrase. It results in your abusive replies being removed by moderators.
So, I'm out.

Gee SLR, thats a bit harsh, especially as you seem to be their favourite.
Anyway it would seem the OP did not like the idea of having their funds held by ebay, as they have cancelled their listing. Maybe I should not have warned them about the holds.
AH!! well , thats Creepy for ya.
