These pop up cookies are sooooo annoying,

How can i stop these cookies from popping up??, there so annoying and slowing me down  by having to click on to them to remove.

I have tried to reset my settings in internet explore to stop them, but it saying every time try to log in that i cant because the web page needs them.

Is this how ebay is going to be fom now on???, i`ll rather spend money on a web page with no pop ups!!!

As mentioned in the thread posted a few hours ago about this subject, the short answer is no, you can't turn them off. Which is really annoying.

You don't have to click on them to get rid of them, just move your cursor off the message link until you decide which message you want to click on.;

I have been using ABP since it first came out and it doesn't stop the pesky balloons, or other alt tags unfortunately.....unless you know of a setting in it somewhere that I haven't found? Please tell me there is a setting!!!

At least eBay have just changed the thread previews to something which is aesthetically a little more pleasing than those terrible cartoon-style bubbles they had previously. These new ones are far less obtrusive IMO.

Still very annoying though! If they would give us the option to turn them off, then everyone is happy. I can't really see the point of them anyway. If a thread has multiple responses to it, you're still only getting a small portion of the original message. Maybe if they showed a small portion of the last new message posted to a thread they might be a little more useful (and I say that lightly!).
